臺灣歌仔戲以優美的唱腔與動人的劇情著稱，近年來更積極融入科技與跨域創新，展現傳統藝術的全新生命力。榮獲第 35 屆傳藝金曲獎「最佳年度作品獎」的《鳳凰變》，正是兼具藝術深度與現代創意的代表作。今年，《鳳凰變》再度升級，結合 VR（虛擬實境）等科技手法，開啟歌仔戲跨界融合的新篇章。
本講座特別邀請創作團隊親臨現場，透過演出示範與導賞分享，帶領觀眾走進《鳳凰變》的創作世界。作品以明鄭時期為背景，從女性視角描繪歷史洪流下的命運與堅韌，並運用科技藝術重現劇中兩大高潮場景——「北原別館」與「鄭克臧力抗敵軍」——讓觀眾彷彿置身劇中，體驗前所未有的沉浸式觀戲感受。
《鳳凰變》不僅以科技延展了戲曲語彙，更引發對家國情懷與文化認同的深層思考，展現臺灣歌仔戲在傳統與現代之間的無限可能。

Taiwanese Opera (歌仔戲 Ge Zai Xi) has long been admired for its melodious singing and emotionally charged storytelling. In recent years, it has continued to evolve by integrating innovative artistic and technological elements, offering new interpretations of traditional art forms.
Tears of the Phoenix, winner of the 35th Golden Melody Awards for Traditional Arts and Music (GMATAM) for Best Work of the Year, reimagines the relationship between history, identity, and technology through a stunning multimedia performance.
In this lecture, members of the creative team will introduce the fundamentals of Taiwanese Opera, provide a live demonstration, and offer an in-depth discussion of Tears of the Phoenix. Set during the Kingdom of Tungning period, the work unfolds from a compelling female perspective, portraying resilience and destiny amid turbulent times.
By incorporating VR (Virtual Reality) and other digital media, the production enhances the dramatic highlights, immersing audiences in an experience that blurs the line between stage and reality. Tears of the Phoenix not only expands the expressive vocabulary of traditional opera through contemporary technology but also invites reflection on themes of homeland, identity, and cultural continuity.
