【Southeast Asian Performing Arts & Culture Workshop】
Join us for a unique two-week program exploring the diverse cultural expressions of mainland and island Southeast Asia through performance, craft, and dialogue.

**Date: May 6 – May 19, 2025
**Time and Venue:

  • Monday, Wed-Friday: 18:00 – 21:00 | Room 304, 3F, Research Building

  • Tuesday: 15:00 – 18:00 | Room 722, 7F, Arts and Cultural Center

  • Saturday: 14:00 – 17:00 | Room 101, 1F, Arts and Cultural Center

  • Sunday: 14:00 – 17:00 | Room 722, 7F, Arts and Cultural Center

✨ Workshop Highlights:

This workshop offers a rich exploration of Southeast Asian performing arts, featuring court and folk dances from Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Java, and Malay regions. Activities include public and class-based dance sessions, hands-on flower art craft workshops, and interactive cultural discussions. The program fosters intercultural learning and creative expression through immersive, practice-based engagement, led by Thai artists Chatchawan Nipattarak and Pimnipha Umamphai, who specialize in traditional dance, costume, and stage design.

【東南亞表演藝術文化工作坊】
誠摯邀請您參加為期兩週的特別課程,透過表演、工藝與對話,共同探索東南亞大陸與島嶼地區多元的文化表達。

✨ 工作坊內容亮點:
本工作坊將深入探索東南亞的表演藝術,展演內容涵蓋泰國、緬甸、寮國、爪哇與馬來地區的宮廷與民間舞蹈。活動包括公開及課程型舞蹈教學、花藝工藝實作坊,以及跨文化交流討論。由來自泰國、擅長傳統舞蹈、服裝與舞台設計的藝術家 Chatchawan Nipattarak 與 Pimnipha Umamphai 親自指導,透過實作參與,啟發跨文化學習與創意表達。
