在印尼，大提琴的演奏方式和其在樂團的地位與歐洲大相逕庭。大提琴在印尼式彈法 keroncong 中，找到了新的生命。Keroncong 彈法透過撥弦（pizzicato）來模仿 kendang（加麥蘭中的雙頭鼓），使大提琴產生節奏性的韻律。 本次講座針對 keroncong 合奏團使用歐式樂器進行詳盡的案例分析與研究。

Playing Cello, Keroncong Ways
A case study of adoption of European instruments in keroncong ensamble, played and functioned differently from method in Europe. Cello found a new life in keroncong by being plucked (pizzicato) to imitate kendang (double headed drum in gamelan) as it produces rythmical sound.
